CHSA members and guests raised £8,400 for RNIB

Members and sponsors of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA), together with their guests, raised £8,400 at the Association’s Annual Gala Ball for the Chairman’s Charity, The Royal National Institute for Blind People.

The Annual Gala Ball, held this year at The Belfry in the West Midlands, is a wonderful way for members to come together. Alongside the sumptuous dinner, the evening was packed with entertainment including Del Boy wheeling and dealing amongst the guests, close-up magicians, live band (The Choice) and dancing. Aaron Calvert, soon to be on Channel 4, was the highlight of the evening, hypnotising guests and creating illusions that kept the audience guessing!

The evening was compered by comedian Mike Osman, who kept the audience laughing.

David Garcia, Vice President of the CHSA and the driving force behind the Gala Ball, explained: “The Gala Ball is always a highlight event, bringing together some of our members and their guests. A particular mention must go to Linda Belcher, our Secretary. Her hard work and creativity made this a very special evening.

“Putting something back is at the heart of our ethos, so we always take the opportunity to raise funds for charity at the Gala Ball. This year we are celebrating raising over £8,400 for the Royal National Institute of Blind People. A huge thank you to all our members and guests who contributed on the night and to our sponsors who made the whole event possible!”

The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the Chairman’s Charity for 2018. The RNIB offers practical and emotional support to people who are losing their sight or are blind or partially sighted, helping them face the future with confidence.
