CHSA puts members at the heart of new advertising campaign

The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) has launched a new advertising campaign that demonstrates the commercial value of membership. With members front and centre, the campaign features manufacturers and suppliers explaining what CHSA membership means to them and, importantly, their customers.

Focused on the simple proposition – “Our Standards. Your Guarantee” – the campaign showcases the role of the CHSA’s Accreditation Schemes in providing independently verified assurance. This helps members differentiate themselves in the market and gives customers greater confidence in their purchasing decisions.

For Evans Vanodine, membership helps reinforce trust in its products. “We are a proud member of the CHSA,” says Nicky Biggart, UK & European Sales Manager at Evans Vanodine. “The Scheme helps protect trust in our products and means customers can make confident buying decisions.”

The campaign also highlights how membership can help businesses demonstrate that they compete on quality, innovation and responsible business practices rather than simply on price. “In a cost driven market, CHSA membership is a guarantee costs are driven down by innovation and efficiency not by cutting corners or unethical supply chains,” says Alastair Scott, Sales Director at Robert Scott.

For customers, the value is equally clear. CHSA Accreditation provides reassurance that suppliers are committed to standards that are independently verified and commercially relevant, helping to reduce purchasing risk. As Alex Dyson, Managing Director of Greyland, explains: “Customers want reassurance suppliers are ethical, transparent and committed to quality. CHSA membership helps provide that assurance.”

Customers want confidence in their supply chains, and CHSA Accreditation delivers exactly that. Stuart Berry of International Tissue Company says: ““Our customers can buy with confidence when they see the CHSA mark. It embodies our commitment to transparency, reliability and quality.”

The new campaign is part of a wider CHSA programme focused on demonstrating the value the Association creates for its members.

The CHSA’s value proposition centres on four areas: strengthening competitive advantage, supporting business growth, representing members’ interests and providing opportunities to engage and support employees.

For distributors, this includes supporting business growth through customer confidence in Accredited suppliers, sales opportunities, stronger market positioning, strategic networking and market intelligence. For manufacturers, the focus includes competitive differentiation, price justification, protection from unfair competition, greater market access and opportunities to develop stronger relationships with distributors and end users.

“Membership must create value for our members,” explained Nick Thompson, the Chairman of the CHSA. “Putting members front and centre so they explain the value of membership in their own words really emphasises our relentless focus on delivering clear commercial benefits to our members and their customers.”
