The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) is donating £10,000 to its nominated charity, Grief Encounter.  

The donation follows the CHSA’s Annual Charity Gala Ball, held in April this year. Since 2019 the CHSA has raised £33,000 for Grief Encounter as its nominated charity.

The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) is helping with the publication of a white paper – The Evolution and Regulation of Cleaning Chemicals, produced by Peter Thistlethwaite, Technical Manager – Cosmetics and Biocides at MSL Solution Providers.

Nicky Biggart, Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) Council member and UK & European Sales Manager at Evans Vanodine has been elected Chair of the CHSA Accreditation Schemes.

The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) has incorporated the Competition and Markets Authority’s Green Claims Code into its Code of Practice.

The British Cleaning Council (BCC) has brought the industry together to ‘speak up’ and lobby MPs to make cleaning and hygiene a national priority.

The CHSA has increased its undergraduate bursary. The Association is now offering more financial support to more young people going to university than ever before.

members and their guests, the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) raised approximately £5,000 at the Association’s Annual Gala Ball for Grief Encounter. Grief Encounter supports bereaved children and their families to help alleviate the pain caused by the death of someone close.  The sum raised adds to the £20,000 the CHSA has already raised for Grief Encounter.

The Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA) has formally launched its Roadmap to Sustainability, announcing the first webinar – ‘Sustainability and the Cleaning Industry’. 

“Buyers of cleaning and hygiene products need to beware providers offering low-cost solutions”, explained Lorcan Mekitarian, chair of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association (CHSA). “Against the backdrop of the escalating cost of raw materials and energy, those reducing prices are likely to be cutting corners. The only way buyers can guarantee they what they pay for is to look for the CHSA Accreditation Scheme mark.”
